Level 14 Features

Perfect Tithe

Once per turn, whenever a creature dies within 60 feet of you, you use your reaction to harvest the creature's soul to cast a spell without expending a spell slot. The following rules apply.

  • The spell cast must have a casting time of one action or bonus action.
  • The spell must be cast at a level which the Druid is able to cast.
  • The spell must be from the school of necromancy.
  • The spell must be one that can be cast with either no material components or with an arcane focus (provided you have your arcane focus available).
  • The spell slot of the spell cast is limited by the hit dice of the creature which has died, as follows:
  • 1 to 4 hit dice - up to 1st Level Spell Slot
  • 5 to 7 hit dice - up to 2nd Level Spell Slot
  • 8 to 10 hit dice - up to 3rd Level Spell Slot
  • 11 to 13 hit dice - up to 4th Level Spell Slot
  • 14 to 16 hit dice - up to 5th Level Spell Slot
  • 17 to 19 hit dice - up to 6th Level Spell Slot
  • 20 to 23 hit dice - up to 7th Level Spell Slot
  • 24 to 29 hit dice - up to 8th Level Spell SLot
  • 30+ hit dice - up to 9th Level Spell SLot

Enduring Tithe

When you hit a creature with your Vampiric Smite, you mark that creature as an ongoing source of life force energy for you to siphon. While the Vampiric Touch spell remains active, for every round after you struck the creature, you can use your bonus action to automatically drain life force from that creature provided the creature is within 120 ft of you. This bonus action can not be used on the same round you marked the creature with Enduring Tithe.

If at any time the creature moves further than 120 ft from you, then the link is broken and can no longer be used.

Regardless of the level at which the Vampiric Touch spell was cast, the damage from the Siphoning Link bonus action is only 3d6 (i.e. the damage from the spell when cast at 3rd level).
